Aiming at the accidents of high-voltage electrical equipment in electric locomotive such as burn out of resistance-capacity absorption device, explosion damage of arrester, DC over-voltage of converter led by overhead line resonant overvoltage happening with increasing frequency in Huaihua railway hub area since 2018, through theoretical analysis and field measurement of the contact network environment of the traction power supply and transformation system in the hub area, the causes of harmonic current of the converter on the side of the HX locomotive network and the common locomotive faults, the harmonic control scheme and locomotive protection measures of adding the ground high-order harmonic filtering device and the filtering link of the voltage sensor of the locomotive converter network were put forward. After the implementation of the above schemes and measures, a good effect of resonance overvoltage suppression is obtained.
