In order to solve the problem of electromagnetic emission problem of high-speed EMU in the fixed frequency band during the type test, the electrical principle system of vehicle traction drive system was decomposed. The radio frequency emission mechanism occurring in the frequency band of 150 kHz~1.15 MHz and 200 MHz~1 GHz was analyzed from the principle of converter switching devices and transmission characteristics of cables. Solutions to the problem of emission and vehicle modification were carried out to achieve radio frequency emission meet the requirements of the standard.
