The structure of a new welding bogie and the material selection of bogie frame were introduced, and the finite element analysis and strength test were made for the bogie frame based on the EN 13749—2011 standard. The three-dimensional model was discretized by Hypermesh software, and the finite element analysis was carried out. The static strength test and fatigue test were organized on the fatigue test bench by using a new test method of bogie frame. The performance of bogie frame and test tool was inspected by making use of calibration static loads combinations and normal service loads combinations in the process of test. The simulation and test results showed that the new welding bogie frame met the design requirement.
