In order to shorten the development cycle and improve the assembly efficiency of the car body, the CKD,6E, electric drive shunting diesel locomotive body was developed with modular technology. The technical parameters of the body of CKD,6E, electric drive shunting diesel locomotive, the structural characteristics of the major parts of the body, the connection structure between the body modules and the composition of the frame assembly were mainly introduced. The practical application showed that the design of the car body module met the expected requirements.
