After EMUs failure, it is necessary to rescue and guide the transfer of passengers. To ensure the comfort of the carriages in rescue towing, a control method was proposed to convert kinetic energy into electric energy of the failure EMUs, which could keep the stability of DC link voltage for the failure EMUs. The results showed that this control method could ensure EMUs auxiliary power supply equipment working properly under rescue towing condition, and maintaining the reliability and comfort of the EMUs compartments.
