Aim to the shortages of traditional PID levitation controller for maglev train, PID controller characteristic was analyzed, andnonlinear PID controller considering system error parameters was designed to realize system stable levitation. Simulation and test resultsshowed that the nonlinear PID controller had the advantages such as simple structure, easy for realizing, quick response, high precision andstrong anti-interference ability, obviously better than the traditional PID controller.
