Based on definitions of the MVB medium allocation, shortages of the periodic polling table constructed by the IEC 61375-1 standards were discussed. Optimization solution of MVB periodic polling table was formed, which allocated the maximal size port in the minimum net load basic period. Application of the algorithm and related way of scheduler analysis were expounded by the example of MVB periodic traffic, which proved that the above-mentioned solution could optimize the MVB period polling table efficiently.
