摘要:Combined with the formulation and release of TB/T 3357-2015 "Traction electric-driving system for locomotives and EMU" and the revision background of the upcoming new edition of GB/T 25117 "Railway applications-rolling stock-combined test method for traction system", the design of traction electric drive system for railway applications and the application scope of its combined test and purpose, main contents, relationship between this standard and other standards, and future development direction of the standard were described. This paper focused on the interpretation of 11 items covered by the standard key points and key technical indicators, and a series of quantitative technical indicators was put forward to provide guidance for the implementation of the standard, which would promote the development of design and test process of key equipment of railway applications towards a more standardized direction.

摘要:Based on the requirements of industry development for standards, a number of technical committees in standardization development organizations at home and abroad have been established one after another, and a more comprehensive technical standard system has been formulated as well. Through analyzing the standardization history, organization structures and activities for domestic and foreign standardization technical committees in the field of rail transit equipment, the direction of new generation technology development led by standards was explored.

摘要:The development history of China’s train communication network technical standards, the reason for the development of standards, adoption of international standards, the main contents and the current state of the standards were described. The main differences between GB/T 28029 (2011 series) standards and GB/T 28029 (2020 series) new standards and their relationships were analyzed in detail, and the development suggestions of the technical standards of the train communication network in China were put forward.

摘要:The traction power system (TPS) of rail transit provides energy for electric traction rolling stock. The safe and reliable operation of the TPS is the basic premise of the reliable operation of vehicles, and the standard has a normative effect on the TPS. This paper analyzed the relevant standards of TPS in IEC standard system, mainly introduced the latest development of the standard IEC 62590 for power electronic converter in traction substation, and discussed the follow-up development trend of IEC TPS standard, which provided reference for the relevant personnel engaged in traction power supply industry.

摘要:In order to facilitate the relevant personnel in the rail transit industry correctly understand and implement IEC 60310:2016 Railway application—Traction transformer and inductor on board rolling stock, the standard was explained from the aspect of auxiliary transformer and compared with IEC 60310:2004. The differences and irrationalities were analyzed, and some suggestions were also provided for reference by transformer and inductor researchers and test professionals in the locomotive traction industry.

摘要:The high frequency, high temperature and high voltage characteristics of SiC devices bring system application advantages to the design of urban rail traction system, but also bring some application challenges. According to the characteristics of SiC devices, the influence of application of SiC devices in urban rail traction system on traction converter, traction motor and control mode was analyzed, and the design and experiment of SiC traction converter were expounded. The ground test results showed that the design of SiC traction system for urban rail transit was reasonable, which could meet the practical application requirements.
摘要:After the adoption of SiC device in traction converter for rail transit, the design of traction system will be negatively affected by the high switching speed and high switching frequency of power switch devices. Combined with theoretical analysis and practical measurement, the influences of SiC and IGBT devices on electromagnetic interference, motor end du/dt, over-voltage and motor bearing voltage of traction inverter system were compared. Finally, the corresponding suppression strategies were proposed to meet existing traction system application requirements in view of the negative effects of SiC MOSFET.
摘要:The wide band-gap devices represented by SiC are becoming the research focus of power semiconductor devices. The new generation of high-voltage packaging is the main packaging form for high-power SiC devices to cope with high-voltage, heat dissipation and parallel use. In this paper, the key thermal performance parameters of the new generation of high-voltage packaging SiC devices, such as packaging structure characteristics, current density, dynamic and static loss parameters, thermal resistance, and junction temperature were compared with those of traditional Si based devices. Based on the typical static and dynamic conditions of traction system, the loss, junction temperature and temperature stress spectrum of the two types of devices under the same working conditions were comprehensively compared. The results showed that SiC devices have higher current carrying capacity and higher efficiency, but there are also some shortcomings, such as higher junction shell thermal resistance and interface thermal resistance, higher heat dissipation power density and lower allowable junction temperature. In practical application, it is necessary to consider circuit topology, current utilization, switching frequency and thermal management system to ensure that the advantages of SiC devices can be brought into full play.

摘要:With the advantages of high switching frequency and low loss, SiC devices have been paid more and more attention in the new generation of metro converters, and have been gradually popularized and applied. Aiming at SiC-device-based metro converter module, the running air-cooling system was designed, and the wind tunnel test platform was built to simulate the running air cooling. Through the modeling and simulation of the subway vehicle bottom objects, the feasibility and accuracy of the wind tunnel test were compared and verified. At the same time, the influence of the car body layout on the heat dissipation performance was analyzed, which provided guidance for the design of the subway running air cooling system.
摘要:Hybrid SiC IGBT uses SiC Schottky diode to replace the anti-parallel diode in traditional IGBT devices, which can reduce the diode reverse recovery loss and IGBT turn-on loss. Compared with the traditional Si IGBT device, the performance of hybrid SiC IGBT is greatly improved, and compared with high-voltage and high-power all SiC devices, hybrid SiC IGBT has greater advantages in cost and technology maturity. According to the characteristics of hybrid SiC IGBT devices, a converter module with low stray inductance in converter circuit was developed to meet the application requirements of hybrid SiC IGBT devices, and the influence of stray inductance of converter circuit on switching characteristics of hybrid SiC IGBT was studied. The experimental results showed that the stray inductance of converter module had a great influence on the amplitude and duration of switching on oscillation voltage of hybrid SiC IGBT, and the system loss could be reduced by about 25% by using hybrid SiC IGBT devices.

摘要:The development status of hybrid locomotive technology at home and abroad was analyzed. The market demand and technical advantages of hybrid locomotive in China were briefly described. The application effect of HXN6 and CKD6E hybrid locomotives was described in detail. It was proposed that the hybrid locomotive with "diesel engine + lithium-ion power battery" was one of the inevitable development directions of the next generation shunting locomotive.
摘要:A variety of different structures of water-cooled radiators used in rail transportation were tested and compared. The effects of different types of flow channels on the flow resistance and heat dissipation performance of radiators were compared, and the heat dissipation characteristics of typical flow channels commonly used in rail transportation were obtained. The research results showed that the flow resistance can be effectively reduced by reducing the length of the flow channel and the reasonable setting of the spacing and the arrangement of the grooves; the cylindrical flow channel and the welded fintype flow channel can effectively increase the turbulence and signi fi cantly improve the heat dissipation effect. The thermal resistance and flow resistance of the welded fin type flow channel are relatively small, and the cost is low, which is more advantageous when the heat dissipation requirement of high heat flux density is required.
摘要:Electric mining dumper has been a key research object in mining industry. Owing to its special operating conditions, the control mode of mining dumper needs to be well studied and selected. The control strategy of the dumper was analyzed, and the application scheme of vector control and direct torque control on the converter of the dumper was studied. Finally, the operating conditions of typical mining dumper were selected and the operating performance of the mining dumper under two control strategies was simulated and analyzed. The experimental results showed that the direct torque control for the mining dumper will be more reasonable.
摘要:According to the principle of main circuit for centralized power EMUs in China, the high voltage electrical box equipped with two main circuit breakers was researched and designed, which not only optimized the arrangement of roof equipments, but also improved the operating environment, improved the safety and reliability of high voltage equipments. With the consideration of the arrangement for high-voltage equipments and the requirements of structural design, the simulating calculation for the electrostatic fi eld and transient electric fi eld was carried out to get the distribution rule for the electric potential and electric fi eld. According to the results of electric fi eld simulation, the optimization methods for electrostatic fi eld of high voltage electrical box were obtained.

摘要:In order to cope with the severe running conditions of railway vehicles, the cabinet fixed outside the train often needs to be designed as a sealed one, which causes heat dissipation problems. In this paper, the thermal design and heat dissipation analysis of an exterior-mounted electric cabinet were carried out. The heat dissipation scheme using fan and fin radiator was proposed, and the simulation analysis was carried out with ICEPAK. Finally, the heat dissipation design was verified to be effective and reliable by experiments.
摘要:Based on the analysis of the technical equipment characteristics and application status of the existing communication signal system of Shenshuo railway, combined with the requirements of Shenshuo Railway Branch Company for the operation time, speed and transportation safety of heavy-duty trains, a set of locomotive intelligent driving communication signal system suitable for Shenshuo railway was developed, which realized the functions of automatic wake-up, automatic shunting, automatic operation and automatic sleep of locomotives. The field operation showed that the system could reduce the manual labor intensity, and improve the locomotive operation level and consistency, as well as the locomotive operation efficiency with lower energy consumption.
摘要:The ultrasonic inspection interval of different types of vehicle axles and the overview of CRH2A EMU axles was introduced. By comprehensively considering the initial crack, critical crack, stress ratio, fracture toughness and effective stress intensity factor and other factors, the formula for calculating the fatigue crack propagation life was obtained. Furthermore, based on the unilateral semi-elliptical surface crack existing at the weakest part of the axle and the maximum stress amplitude, the fatigue crack growth life of CRH2A EMU axles was calculated, with comparison and analysis of the ultrasonic flaw detection cycle of the axles, it was proved feasible to optimize the current ultrasonic flaw detection interval.
摘要:The life of the axle box bearing of a high-speed EMU variable gauge bogie was evaluated. The axle box bearing should take two kinds of gauge and bear partial load due to the influence of the wheel track distance, thus producing the partial load effect and the edge effect, which made the line contact load bearing end failure earlier than the other parts. Therefore, it was necessary to evaluate the expansion life of the axle box bearing of the variable gauge bogie. The fatigue life of the double row cylindrical roller bearing was calculated and the roller of the double row cylindrical roller bearing was repaired. The fitting curve between the different load and the fatigue life of the roller bearing was obtained by numerical analysis. The calculation showed that the partial load greatly affected the fatigue life of the bearing, but it could still meet the design requirements.
摘要:The advantages of the vehicle axle box inboard bogie were introduced, and the main technical parameters of the vehicle axle box inboard bogie exported to Malaysia were provided. The technical characteristics, structural characteristics and wheelset forces of the bogie were analyzed. Compared with the bogie outside the axle box, the weight of the bogie with built-in axle box was reduced by about 20% and the unsprung mass was reduced by about 30%, which had obvious lightweight advantages. Under the same vehicle load conditions, the axle load reduction rate calculation result showed that the axle box inboard bogie improved axle load reduction rate about 50% in air spring inflation and deflation cases, which improved the running safety.
摘要:In order to ensure the reliability design requirements of hybrid locomotives, the key components of the power battery system were comprehensively analyzed, and the key factors affecting its reliability were effectively identified. Firstly, based on the fault tree analysis (FTA) method, a fault tree model of the power battery system was established to arrive at the degree of impact of various factors on the safety risk of power battery system. Secondly, based on the results of FTA analysis, combined with the hierarchical analysis method, the system hierarchy model was established to calculate the key factors affecting the reliability of the power battery system. Finally, according to the reliability analysis results, the optimization scheme was put forward for the power battery system reliability design of hybrid locomotives, which provides theoretical basis and practical design guidance.
摘要:Based on the results of static strength analysis, the topology optimization and size optimization of suspended monorail vehicle bogie frame were carried out by combining structural optimization theory with finite element analysis method. The lightweight design of the structure was realized while improving the stress distribution of the frame, and the weight of the frame was reduced by 14.8%. The results of static strength and dynamic characteristics analysis showed that the performance of the optimized frame structure was improved and the optimized structure was reasonable.

摘要:The application characteristics of lithium-ion power battery systems in the field of rail transit was introduced. The safety principles and requirements of high-power lithium-ion power batteries in locomotives and EMU were briefly introduced. The safety design technical guidelines for the use of active protection and passive protection for the lithium-ion power battery system were proposed, and relevant tests were carried out to verify. The research results showed that the safety design concept of active protection and passive protection could greatly improve the safety redundancy of the lithium battery system in locomotives and EMU applications.
摘要:To study the influence of the polished depth of rail profile at the gauge angle on the low-frequency vibration of high-speed train, a group of rail profiles were obtained by interpolating between the standard CN60 profile and the measured rail profile which was excessively polished at the gauge angle. Choosing a certain type of EMUs as the research object, and selecting the standard profile S1002CN as the wheel profile, the evolution law of the wheel-rail contact relationship and the lateral vibration of the carbody were calculated and analyzed when it matched with different rail profiles. The analysis results showed that with the increasing of grinding depth at the rail gauge angle, the equivalent conicity under the matching relationship between the rail and the standard profile S1002CN decreased gradually, and the wheel-rail contact points moved to the nominal rolling circle of the tread and the rail top. Moreover, the frequency of the vibration decreased while the amplitude of vibration and the lateral sperling index increased. Finally, one of the rail profiles was selected as the critical profile to limit the reasonable range of rail grinding.

摘要:According to the present situation of the tram ground power supply technology at domestic and abroad, the sectional-spaced ground power supply system scheme and realization method were put forward. The system control method was illustrated through judging from the ground state of power supply and vehicle-mounted uninterruptible power supply to charge and discharge control strategy. With the system simulation and experimental research of the operation energy and technology application on the Zhuhai tram line 1, the technical and economic advantages of the sectional-spaced ground power supply system was analyzed.

摘要:For the 100% low-floor tram with five modules, the vertical stability index was abnormal at 40 km/h speed. In order to explore the cause, the field test was carried out. The test result indicated that the eccentric frequency of the wheel resonates with the natural modal frequency of the tram. Then the PolyMax algorithm was used to identify the modal parameters, and the vertical natural mode with the main frequency of 5.85 Hz was obtained, which was presented as the nodding and floating between the five car-bodies. By establishing a vehicle dynamics model, the influence of the wheel on the different eccentricity is analyzed, and the vertical ride comfort is greatly improved by optimizing parameters of inter-vehicle longitudinal damper and secondary vertical damper. When the damping is 24 MN·s/m and the node stiffness is 20~30 MN/m in the secondary vertical damper, the vertical stability index is about 1.9, which can basically eliminate the influence of abnormal vibration.

Based on the earth voltage characteristics analysis in case of different earth faults points in rolling stock traction system, the method of detecting earth fault point of rolling stock traction system was proposed. The experimental results proved the correctness and effectiveness of the proposed method.
摘要:In order to explore the accuracy and maneuverability of air spring damping test, the damping experiments theory of free vibration, foundation excitation and half power bandwidth were described, then the air spring damping was studied experimentally and the difference and accuracy of damping results of different test methods were compared. The results showed that the three test methods of air spring damping were operable. The ideal attenuation waveform was difficult to be obtained by the free vibration method because of the influence of the material and structure characteristic of air bag; Half power bandwidth method was greatly affected by test frequency resolution and the extraction of the half power point, there was often a little error in the test results; The foundation excitation method could obtain the real damping characteristic of air spring, but the theory and test curve of displacement transmissibility in the high frequency region were poor compliance. The research provided a reference for air spring damping test.

摘要:With the increase of EMU speed, pantograph catenary offline has become a common and inevitable phenomenon in high-speed EMU operation. The network voltage interruption caused by pantograph catenary offline will affect the reliable operation of EMU traction system. Based on the traction system of a high-speed EMU, the composition of the traction system and the current protection scheme of the network voltage interruption were introduced, and an adaptive lifting scheme for the short-term pantograph catenary offline was proposed, so as to reduce the impact of the short-term pantograph catenary offline on the traction system and improve the train operation efficiency. The ground test results and line operation evaluation data showed that the proposed pantograph catenary offline adaptability improvement scheme was effective.
