Submission Guidelines
1. Scope of Publication
The journal welcomes submissions of academic papers, review articles, and other research achievements that represent the cutting edge in the fields of rail transit and locomotives.
2. Main Columns
The main columns of the journal include: Railway Rolling Stock, Electric Traction and Control, Intelligent Technology, Low-carbon Technologies, Railway Electrification, Reliability Engineering, High-power Devices, Communication and Signal, High-speed Railway, Advanced Transport Equipment, Detection Technology, Reviews, etc.
3. Submission & Status Check
The journal accepts online submissions only. Please log in to the official journal website (https://edl.csrzic.com/homeNav?lang=en), complete the registration, and then submit the manuscript. Be sure to fill in all required information completely and accurately during registration, including a brief introduction of your academic background, research topics, publication history, etc.
Please carefully edit your manuscript according to the manuscript template provided on the journal's website, and create a Word document that includes the information of the author(s). Subsequently, remove all author information (including affiliations) from the Word document to create an anonymized version. Upload both documents (the Word document with author information and the anonymized Word document) to the journal's online submission system.
The review process of the journal consists of three stages. Review results are typically provided to authors within three months after submission. Authors can check the review status of their manuscripts through the journal's website or WeChat official account (WeChat ID: jcdcd1960) with the manuscript number. Upon acceptance, authors will receive a remuneration and two copies of the corresponding issue provided by the journal. Please note that the remuneration includes the copyright license fee for the article, and no additional fees will be paid to the author.
4. Copyright Policy
Before submission, authors should download and complete the "Copyright License Agreement" available on the journal's website. This agreement must be signed by all authors and endorsed with the official stamp of their respective affiliations. Subsequently, authors should upload a scanned copy of the signed agreement to the submission system and also mail the original document to the editorial department.
Under this agreement, authors agree to grant a non-exclusive license to the editorial department of the journal for the full rights of reproducing and disseminating the article and its attachments (such rights include, but are not limited to, the rights of reproduction, distribution, information network dissemination, broadcasting, performance, translation, compilation, adaptation, and other property rights related to the copyright).
After publication, the author(s) of the article will retain all copyright of the article.
5. Academic Norms
Authors must ensure the authenticity of their manuscripts and adhere to academic norms, such as avoiding multiple submissions, confidentiality breaches, plagiarism, and authorship disputes. Authors bear full responsibility for their published work.
6. Basic Requirements for Manuscripts
Submissions must have a clear theme and present coherent arguments, supported by credible evidence and precise data. The text should be concise, complemented by clear charts and standardized symbols. In addition, articles should be original and innovative, reflecting the cutting edge in their fields, and offering substantial academic value or wide-ranging application potential. A special priority is accorded to outstanding articles that are supported by national or provincial natural science funds, or technological research and development projects.
The content of the manuscript should include the title, authors' names, their affiliations, the corresponding author, contact phone number, email address, abstract, keywords, classification number, main text, and references. Additionally, corresponding English sections for the title, authors' names, affiliations, abstract, keywords, and references should be provided in alignment with the Chinese parts.
For guidance on manuscript preparation, please refer to the manuscript template and "Writing Requirements" page available on this website. Manuscripts should be formatted as DOC documents created with Word software, accompanied by independent image files. The length of the manuscript, including the main text, figures, tables, abstracts in both Chinese and English, and references, should generally be no less than 6,000 words. Refer to the manuscript template for formatting details.

7. Fee Information
To support open access publishing, the journal charges an Article Processing Charge (APC) of CNY 350 per page.
