Calculation of Short-circuit Current of Metro Vehicle Based on External Characteristics of Rectifier Unit
Combined with the actual metro line and vehicle electric parameters, the electrical characteristics of rectifier unit was analyzed in detail and the calculation method of short-circuit current occurring on the metro vehicle was proposed based on the external characteristics of rectifier unit. The substation-traction network-metro vehicle model was established and simulated. The short circuit transient process of metro vehicle was obtained. The comparison between the two results showed that the waveform error was less than 5%. The application analysis of the actual operating conditions shows that the calculation can verify the reliability of the vehicle-network protection configuration. The research work provides theoretical basis and data support for selecting DC fast circuit breaker, determining system protection configuration and evaluating power supply capability.
