Reliability Analysis and Optimal Design of the Wind-resistance Brake Device Based on FTA
Wind-resistance braking is one of the non-adhesion braking approaches, which can provide large braking force at high speed. In order to improve the reliability of the wind-resistance brake device, the fault tree analysis of the self-designed wind-resistance brake device for high-speed train was carried out qualitatively and quantitatively. According to the minimum cutset and importance degree of the fault tree obtained from the analysis, the wind-resistance brake device was improved and designed. The single point fault of the improved wind-resistance brake device was reduced and its reliability was improved. The analysis method adopted in this paper can provide a basis for continuous optimization and improvement of the development of wind-resistance brake device.
