An Integrated Optimization Method for Energy-efficient Control of Hybrid Trains Considering Energy Management
A type of EMUs which used catenary and on-board batteries as hybrid power system was studied. An integrated optimization method of operation control strategy and energy management was proposed. The objective was to minimize the global equivalent energy consumption. Firstly, power flow model, the dynamic model of trains and the on-board batteries model were described, and then the integrated operation model for both speed profiles and energy management were built. For train operation processes with characteristic of spatial segmentation, continuous state variables and different constraints, the integrated model was converted into a multi-stage hybrid train energy management and operation optimization strategy model, and then the adaptive Pseudo-spectrum method was introduced for solving the multi-stage model. Finally, simulation was carried out under a line with catenary and catenary-less sections. Simulation results showed that, in accordance with operation requirements and constraints,this method can be used to calculate the train speed profiles and the charge/discharge current value of on-board batteries accurately,which can realize the operation of two kinds of power supply system with improvement of energy efficiency to save energy consumption.
