Influence of Lateral Mounting Position of Anti-hunting Motion Dampers on Locomotive Dynamic Performance
Based on locomotive dynamics with simulation software SIMPACK, influence of anti-hunting motion dampers mounting position on locomotive dynamic performance was systematically analyzed. Simulation results showed that increasing anti-hunting motion dampers’ mounting distance in the lateral direction could improve critical hunting speed obviously, but impact derailment factor, wheel unloading ratio and lateral wheelset-rail force little.
