Analysis of Wheel Fatigue Strength under Two Different Assessing Criterions
The wheel fatigue strength assessing criterions based on uniaxial fatigue theory and Dang-Van multi-axis highcycle fatigue assessing criterions were both used to calculate the fatigue strength of the same wheel, and safety and application scope were compared. The results showed that the fatigue strength of wheel met the requirements under the two assessing criterions, and the danger zone of the wheel fatigue was on the middle point of plate hole edge in flange side; uniaxial fatigue criterion of the plate tended to be more safe, and the Dang-Van multi-axial high cycle fatigue criterion was better to evaluate the plate hole.
