Research on Ethernet Train Communication Network Based on URI Domain Name Addressing
In the ETB/ECN train communication network, when the train coupling or de-coupling, the train-level IP address of its equipment will change with the ETB attribute and coupling direction of vehicles. The network technician needs to use the ETB inauguration result to calculate the train-level IP address, which will reduce the development efficiency. An addressing scheme based on URI domain names was proposed. Compared with commonly used IP addressing, the URI address of a device was determined by its train location, vehicle location and device function, which did not change with the train topology. After the source device interacted with the domain name server through the static URI address, the train-level IP address of the destination device was obtained to complete the ETB communication. URI addressing reduced the complexity of dynamic IP addressing in the network system design process, and solved the problem that WTB/MVB networks could not maintain the entire train at a single point, which improved the efficiency of network development and maintenance.
