Fault Analysis of Qingdao Metro Line 2 Sliding Plug Door System
During the early operation stage of Qingdao metro line 2, the trains were delayed many times caused by sliding plug door fault. To assure the train's safety operation, this paper focused on the typical faults in the early operation stage of Qingdao metro line 2, analyzed the faults from train operation conditions, control logic of the faults and faults active conditions, summarized the root cause of the faults in detail, and provided the corresponding improvement measures accordingly. It was proved that these measures could decrease the door fault rate, and improve the operation reliability of the metro trains. This research provided valuable reference for other metro projects in installation, commissioning and maintenance, and provided basis for quick fault location and treatment.
